Module 1- What is YIN Yoga? – May 31, June 1, 2, 2019
What is YIN Yoga? History, Yin Asana, Sequencing, theory, practice, exploration of the postures in relation to the self, and the anatomy of YIN yoga.
Module 2- Meridian Lines – June 22, 23, 2019
Primary focus on the energy body, the meridian lines as they relate to both traditional Chinese Medicine + Yogic theories of Nadis and Chakra. Refine teaching + sequencing in the Yin Tradition and understand how to target certain lines of energies for specific areas of discomfort.
25 Hour Restorative Yoga and Yoga for Physical Limitations

Module 2 – Sunday July 21, 2019
2x 60 Minute Practical Classes TBC with input from registrant’s schedules
Even the strongest yogi needs a balance! The focus is on learning how to create a class sequence to restore from our more active practice, to return from injury or how to simply go from inactivity to a more active practice. Our primary focus is on Restorative Yoga for the able-bodied with a secondary focus on how to include practitioners with physical limitations into our able-bodied class by incorporating chair, straps and bolsters. The learning objective is to feel confident in welcoming all students into a restorative class and having something to offer everyone in a regular Hatha class to make the class accessible to all ages, ranges of mobility and physicality.
25 Hour Advanced Asana Intensive
Delve into the roots of vinyasa…connect with yoga masters.

Learn to practice in a way that is well balanced, safe and consistent. Explore ADVANCED ASANAS including arm balances, inversions, deep backbends and hip openers as we work with a different focus each morning. Develop and vary your practice with the dynamic movement of Vinyasa along with the stability and depth of sensation in long supported holds. Dive into Vinyasa’s Roots with a study of texts selected from Krishnamacharya, Pattabhi Jois. contemporary teachers: David Life, Sharon Gannon, Shiva Rea and Baron Baptiste. We will join together as a study group to discuss one another’s exploration. (Book List Provided Upon Registration)
